Are you using MFA? By now, everyone should be using MFA with Microsoft 365. This can be used to prevent unauthorised access to your tenant, and your data.<\/p>\n
Try to use MFA that you are required to enter a number into, rather than just approve it. This adds a second step to authenticating and relies on the end user proving that they are who they say they are.<\/p>\n
Ensure that you are using least privelaged access. This will help to ensure that any compromised accounts do not have access to ALL data.<\/p>\n
Configure your Global Admins with Conditional Access. Only allow Access from certain IP addresses.<\/p>\n
Lock your normal accounts down, if they only log in from the UK, then prevent accounts from being accessed outside of the UK.<\/p>\n
Apply baselines based on the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark to audit and restrict non-compliant setups.<\/p>\n
Track Secure Score: Regularly review your posture via Microsoft Defender for Cloud to close configuration gaps.<\/p>\n
