Your PC can\u2019t find the device if the device is locked.<\/li><li>On your PC, select the&nbsp;<strong>Start&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;button and then select&nbsp;<strong>Photos&nbsp;<\/strong>to open the Photos app.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Import&nbsp;<\/strong>&gt;&nbsp;<strong>From a connected&nbsp;device<\/strong>, then follow the instructions.<br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.content.office.net\/en-us\/media\/d49cff85-782e-433e-a92c-46d41ad5373a.png\" alt=\"Where to find the Import icon in the Photos app.\"><br><br>You can pick the items you want to import and select where to save them. Allow a few moments for detection and transfer.<\/li><\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Make sure the photos you want to import are actually on the device rather than in the cloud.&nbsp;Then, follow the&nbsp;steps for your type of device.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Android devices<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You might already have the camera app on your phone in sync with cloud storage such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.com\/article\/42a0202d-c944-4ebc-bb17-32d0082226f8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OneDrive<\/a>&nbsp;or Google photos. If so, your photos and videos are automatically uploaded to the cloud. When you want to access these photos or videos from your PC, you can use a web browser to download the photos and videos stored from the cloud storage.<\/li><li>For recent photos, use the Your Phone app from Microsoft Store. With this app, you also do not need a USB cable to view and copy the most recent photos from your camera and screenshot folder. This feature only includes recent photos and doesn\u2019t import videos. Your Phone app requires an Android phone with Android OS 7.0 or newer.<\/li><li>If you use a USB cable to download directly from your device, you might need to change the USB setting to transfer media or photos. Select Trust or Allow to continue. For Apple\u2019s current info, see &#8220;Import to PC&#8221; in\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/HT201302\" target=\"_blank\">Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch<\/a>on Apple\u2019s website.<\/li><li>If iCloud is enabled on your iOS device, you won\u2019t be able to download your photos or videos. Your images exist on iCloud but not on your device.
