You can secure your account with using 2 step authentication, or 2 factor authentication. This means that not only do you need to enter a password to access your account, but you also need to authenticate your login via your mobile device, either by entering a code sent to you via text message, or using an authenticator app.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The problem with this is that it can sometimes break your e-mail client, as it does not know how to authenticate the second time around. This is why Google allow you to set up special passwords for your e-mail client.
